Amiga
The Agua Mansa Industrial Growth Association (AMIGA) was established under a Joint Powers Agreement by the County of San Bernardino, the County of Riverside, the City of Colton, the City of Rialto, and the City of Riverside (Jurisdictions) on May 17, 1985. The Jurisdictions utilized joint powers to manage, coordinate, market, and administer economic development programs and projects in the area known as Agua Mansa Industrial Corridor, located in portions of Riverside County and San Bernardino County. The County of San Bernardino is the administrative agency for AMIGA. AMIGA is governed by an Executive Committee, in which all power and authority of AMIGA is vested. One member of the governing body of each of the members of AMIGA serves on the Executive Committee. The Agua Mansa Enterprise Zone is no longer active. The County of Riverside no longer is a member of the AMIGA Joint Powers Authority and has no representation on the AMIGA Executive Committee.
Currently, the main function of the AMIGA Executive Committee is to approve the annual Special Tax for Community Facilities District 2002-1 to ensure payment of the debt service issued under Community Facilities District 2002-1.
