The Joshua Tree Recreation and Park District hosts the following annual events:
- Annual Egg Hunt 9:00a.m.
- Community Center Halloween Haunt
- Joshua Tree Community Spirit Celebration
- The Water Play Park at Sunburst Park is open between Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend, Thursday - Monday 9am-7pm, CLOSED TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY!
Additionally, the District runs several youth sports programs:
- Youth Tennis - Summer Program TBA
- Youth Basketball - Season begins in March
- Youth T-Ball/Baseball -Season begins in June
- Youth Soccer - Season begins in September
